A unique and not-to-be-missed gig! Bev’s first Hastings appearance is happening here this Thursday. Expect dazzling vocals, old typewriters, cheese graters, glass orchestras, a drum kit made from a 1940’s suitcase and a fuzzy glow when you leave at the end of the night.

Open from 7, band plays from 8.30.

Thursday 7-11

Craft beers, lovely wines and even a few cocktails from the bar. The kitchen will be dishing out a menu of home cooked locally sourced grub too. This week is an amazing slow cooked pulled pork or Mexican spiced Halloumi both served in a Brioche bun with house slaw, refried beans, sweet potato wedges and sauteed peppers. Your weekly retreat awaits you.

Saturday 11-1 Brunch (closed from 2 for a private function ) 

Brunch classics as well as weekly specials, fresh coffees, teas and a well spiced Bloody Mary.

Read the papers, chat with friends, lay in the garden and ease yourself in to the weekend.

Sunday 12-4 Lunch

Brunch classics and a weekly special, proper coffees from our latest team member (and coffee wizard) Anthony, fresh smoothies and bar. Also afternoon tea with home made cake, here’s last weeks treat which was an Apple Caramel layer, it went down very well! No need to book, just come on down.

 A new menu of Mexican Tapas. Come and join us for Taco Thursday where we’ll be dishing up boards of tasty Mexican infused delights. Meet pals, play table tennis or bring your knitting, we’re open to you all.

Saturday – open 11-5 Brunch 11-1

Saturday brunch continues with the classics as well as a weekly special and back by popular demand our home made local rhubarb & vanilla jam!

If you just fancy a drink and a lounge in the garden (weather permitting) then we’ll be open all afternoon.

Saturday – Brunch is Back! 11-5 (food served til 1)

Back after popular demand. Every Saturday until further notice (or the winter comes round again).

We’ll be bringing back the ole faves like Eggs Benedict, potato hash and homemade baked beans. All to be washed down with the weeks smoothie, coffee, tea of even a Bloody Mary. Our bar will be open until 5.

                                                                                                                                  FRIDAY – The first in a series of curiosities. If you were kicking about in the 70’s, or are just interested in them that were (the Sex Pistols, Warhol, Vivienne Westwood, Adam Ant….), we’ve got a great series of Friday nights lined up for you with Punk’s own anti-heroine, Jordan (aka Pamela Rooke).

We kick off this exciting adventure with the screening of Derek Jarmans film Jubilee. Come and meet Jordan and watch the movie for £5 or an inclusive ticket for £15 (booking essential) gets you the movie, a 70’s food platter (it looks outrageous but tastes great) and a Harvey Wallbanger, a popular cocktail of the time.

Clubhouse brings to you singer/songwriter Joanna Turner, playing songs of her own as well as covers. We particularly loved Ace of Base “All That She Wants” which made us feel 15 again. Bar open from 7, kitchen serving home made pizzas until 9.30.

Ears & Eyes – An evening of presentations brought to you by two award winning illustrators, not to be missed.

We know him best for his amazing illustrations used in BBC’s Great British Bake off but Tom Hovey will tell us much more about what he does.
