Our Oven baked Ragu

British beef, smoked bacon, sun dried tomatoes, rosemary & red wine. Slow cooked for an intense flavour, served with fresh pasta and a crisp green salad

Fresh Pesto

Freshly made basil pesto, fresh pasta, baked garlic parmesan courgettes and a crisp green salad

Green Bean Mac & Cheese

Seasonal green beans & fresh Macaroni in a rich cheese sauce, topped with Parmesan and baked in the oven. Served with a crisp green salad

Sides £2.50

Garlic Bread, Tomato, Mozzarella & Basil Salad , Garlic Parmesan Courgettes  or Green Salad

We’ve even got some Italian wines at the bar to sip whilst listening to some Italian music. Failing that…there’ll be the usual quirks such as table tennis and craft beers!

Followed by “Hedgerow Frumble” (Yes we made this name up)

A selection of home grown (namely our Mulberries) and locally grown summer berries mixed together to make a fine compote, served over home made custard and topped with an oaty crumble. Divine!

Firstly, a massive THANK YOU to all that came to last weekends garden party, it was such a great day. Our sincere gratitude to all those that entertained, cooked, cleaned and served. We look forward to next year!

So, this week with us…

Thursday 7-11 Pizza Night!

Hand made pizzas fresh from the oven and loaded with your favourite toppings. From the bar we have our usual offerings of craft beers and great wines or for something slightly different why not give one of our home brewed spirits a whirl? We have strawberry gin and rhubarb vodka

 

Saturdays – We are no longer doing brunch on a Saturday however our venue is now available for private hire on these days so if you have an event, a celebration or fancy a private dining evening with your friends, get in touch.

Beacon Garden Party

We are open tonight from 7pm. The kitchen will be dishing out pulled pork or Halloumi with roast squash, roast peppers & chipotle mayo in Brioche buns. Both come with sweet potato wedges, sour cream dip, sauteed peppers and house slaw. From the bar we have our usual great selection of craft beers, wines, ciders and spirits. New in this week is a local pear cider!

And then..please join us this Sunday for our annual garden party!

Beacon Bake Off

Closing date for the cake competition is fast approaching so if you wish to take part please apply soon! Entrants fee is £5, first prize is £100 and all cakes will be sold during the garden party (7th August) with all proceeds going to the Old Town Preservation Society.
