Coming soon is the latest from our in house clothing boutique, Clothesline. To see the latest designs just in time for summer, a show is being put together comprising of real women (and maybe even some guys) to bring to you a variety of great hand made wears. A must see. Pie & Mash!

This Thursday, while Tommy has a well earned rest, we’ll be running the kitchen in good ole fashion Beacon style – Pie & Mash!


With a choice of local slow cooked beef or goats cheese, spinach & squash (v), the kitchen will be serving til 9 and the bar will run til 11 with table tennis and music as usual.

Local roast pork with apple sauce, Beets, Leeks & Onions on chickpea mash (ve), both served with roasties and seasonal vegetables. Pud this week is Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Sunday Mothers Day Lunch 12-4

Whether you’re treating a well deserving mother or just in need of a fine cooked roast lunch, we’re here with a local roast beef & Yorkshire pud or a layered vegetable pie (vegan option available), both served with crisp roasties, seasonal vegetables and a delicious gravy. Your weekend begins here

Thursday 7-11 – Tommy’s Kitchen

This week Tommy is serving up a board of delights, choose from local lamb kofta or his hand made falafel; each comes with herby cous cous, houmous, home made flatbreads and harissa. There’s also a winning smoked aubergine dip for starters and an apple tart for anyone in need of a sweet. 7-9. Bar, table tennis and general hang out til 11.

Sunday Lunch 12-4

The last, but not least, roast of this month is a local pork with caramelised apples and rosemary or a Butternut Dauphinoise (V) (Vegan option available), both served with crispy roasties and a selection of local vegetables. We have a starter of mixed meze and a pudding of marmalade upside down cake & custard. Kids menu available weekly too.

Dishing up another winning menu, this week our Tommy is serving a home made chicken or vegetable Katsu curry with rice and pickles. Also on the offering is a Sticky Toffee Pudding with cream. Fully stocked bar with a wide range of beers, wines and soft drinks. Table Tennis and a general hoot on the hill…
