Dishing up another winning menu, this week our Tommy is serving a home made chicken or vegetable Katsu curry with rice and pickles. Also on the offering is a Sticky Toffee Pudding with cream. Fully stocked bar with a wide range of beers, wines and soft drinks. Table Tennis and a general hoot on the hill…

Sunday Lunch 12-4

Book your place now for our weekly roast. This week is a local roast beef with Yorkshire puds or a cracking nut roast (V) (Ve) on a bed of celeriac puree. Both come with crisp roasties, a selection of seasonal vegetables and gravy. Pud is a chocolate mousse cake.

Come for a cracking roast! Local roast mustard glazed chicken with a Waldorf stuffing or Beets, Leeks & Onions on a bed of chickpea mash (Ve). Both come with crisp roasties, seasonal veg and real good gravy.

This weeks sweet is Sticky Toffee Pudding.

This week expect a Mexican inspired fiesta of local beef or vegan chilli with rice, slaw and home made flatbreads, a starter of cheese loaded potato skins and a sweet in the form of a vanilla cheesecake with baked berries. Our bar is stocked and we’re raring to welcome you!

This weeks roast is a local pork slow roasted with fennel and confit shallots or a mushroom wellington with spinach. Both served with cracking roasties, root veg mash, local greens and gravy. Pud is a pear parkin pudding with custard.

Tommy’s dishing out a Scottish inspired menu this week in celebration of Burns Night. Cullen Skink, Haggis style sausages (not an offal in sight) or hand made veggie sausages,  plus neeps & tatties. Followed by a treacle tart with cranachan topping. Food til 9. Bar & open mic til 11. Please feel free to bring along your own dedication to the night, all welcome!

This week is a marvellous local lamb with onion sauce or a hearty lentil roast (Ve) with balsamic onion gravy. Both served with roasted root veg, crispy roasties and local greens. Pud this week is an apple & blackberry crumble with custard.

Your Thursday night social is back! We have chef Tommy in the kitchen offering a Mexican inspired menu of slow cooked spiced local beef brisket or a vegan chilli, both served with coconut rice and hand made flat breads. Also returning this week is our lovely Sunday roast! We launch with a classic, and of course local, roast beef with Yorkshire pudding or a vegetarian/vegan option of leek, squash & broccoli pie. Both come with crisp roasties and a selection of seasonal vegetables. Pudding is a Gypsy Tart.

We’re Back!

We open our doors next week, kicking off the year 2018, with a Thursday evening from chef and local whizzkid Tommy. See his new menu HERE

The following Thursday is Burns Night so stay tuned for plans on that, we’re working on it!

If you missed the Clothesline sale the weekend before last then there’s still time to pop in and see their latest lines! Tuesday-Thursday this week only.
