Garden Kitchen (freshly made stone baked pizzas) & Bar 6pm. Plus performance event in the Front Yard 7.30pm

This Friday alongside our usual Garden Kitchen & bar opening, grab a ticket to see The Life & Rhymes of Archy & Mehitabel, a once man show by performer Patrick Kealey. For one night only, tickets £10, performance will be outdoors so please bring layers. Please note, this event will run separately to our usual Friday service so those that wish to come for the evening and not see the show will be directed to the back garden. It may also be best to let us know if you wish to eat and see the show so we can ensure you get all you need!

We like to do things a little backwards here at The Beacon, so to celebrate the end of the Spring and Summer….we’re having a good old notspring clean! This Sunday, we’re holding a sale of some of our much loved treasures; vintage clothing, crockery and household jumble. Come and have a look, between 12-4, take a drink from the bar or even book a table for Sunday lunch…

Sunday lunch service 1-3ish

  • Local butterflied leg of lamb, minted redcurrant (by pre-order only as supply is very limited)
  • Chicken & Leek Pie
  • Butternut squash, chickpea & spinach Filo Pie (ve)

Each main comes with squashed roast garlic potatoes & a variety of seasonal vegetables.

Dessert this week is our “Plumble”, homegrown plum crumble (vegan option available)

Live Music!

Friday 6pm – Bar, Garden Kitchen & Gig

This Friday come and enjoy some live music brought to you by local talent, Bev Lee Harling accompanied by Frank Moon. Set to be an intimate, hopefully outdoor(!) gig previewing songs from Bev’s new album ‘Little Anchor’, due to be released in Autumn. The gig is free but donations will be collected for the musicians, lets keep live music alive!

Bar & Garden Kitchen open from 6pm, serving up hand rolled stone baked pizzas. Music from 8. Booking is strongly recommended, especially if you wish to sit and eat.

We also ask that if you or any of your guests feel remotely unwell that you/they postpone the booking. Pizza Fridays & the Taste of Summer

We’re open again this weekend with a menu of tasty food, open gardens, lots of drinks and a bit of cake too…

Friday Bar & Garden Kitchen 6-10pm

Alfresco dining, freshly baked pizzas from the wood fired oven, bar serving up beers, wines (some local) and spirits. We also have a special this week in the form of a Rock-a-nore smoked fish platter!

Please call ahead if your party is larger than 8 or if you intend to come later in the evening, sometimes food runs out and we hate to disappoint!

Light lunches of potted ham or cheese Ploughmans (vegan option always available), cakes, coffee and open bar. Please note lunch service ends at 4.
