This Sunday we will be delivering local roast lamb with minted redcurrant or a Lentil Roast with squash puree (ve). Each dish comes with dauphinois (not vegan, sorry!), roasties and the finest vegetables we can source, safely!

Dessert is a choice of Sticky Toffee Pudding or fruit crumble (ve).

Offering Some Comfort In Lockdown…

Firstly, a big thanks to all that ordered from us last Sunday and endured a long wait whilst we battled through our first ever home delivery service. We learnt a lot and can now begin to work on making our systems quicker and easier to get the meals to you within a designated time frame. Thanks for your patience…

These are hard times, most are anxious as we travel through times of total unknown but we are here, as long as we can continue to get supplies, to deliver some comforting home cooked food (and wine!) to your door.

This week we have local roast pork with stuffing and local apple sauce, we also have Homity Pie (v) and some hand made vegan sausages. Each come with roasties, seasonal vegetables and gravy. Dessert is a choice of white chocolate cheesecake or a fruit crumble (ve).

We have, so far, been unable to set up phone payments as our provider is working with a reduced team of staff so contactless payment remains to be by Paypal or BACS.

Its a very worrying time for many in so many ways, we’re with you. During this period, we are self isolating to protect those more vulnerable around us but we are also doing our best to provide what we can to the surrounding community.

Hats off, take a bow, applause and so many thank you’s to all that made International Women’s Day here so wonderful! From the performers, musicians and storytellers, our team here, to all that attended – You MADE it!

International Women’s WEEKEND

We decided to go ALL OUT and celebrate International Women’s Day for the ENTIRE WEEKEND.

FRDIAY NIGHT! An evening with Bev Lee Harling, a composer, violinist and all round musical wonder. Her voice is magic and she can turn kitchen utensils into instruments, behold!

Bar & kitchen open from 6, we will be serving a menu of (vegan) small plates until 8.30.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON 2-4. Tea, sweet treats & cocktails brought to you by the ladies of Story Time. Adult themed stories as well as music. Families welcome but children’s areas will be set up for the duration of the performances.

SATURDAY NIGHT – Comicality! A cabaret of funny femmes bringing it all home. We have local poet, Kate Tym, as well as Andrea Knight (an annoyed lady with a Ukulele), plus Rachel Carroll/serial killer (kills every night), what a set! Get tickets HERE

Its all for a good cause…

Over the course of the weekend, we will have a collection point for Period Poverty, so if you are coming here to any of the events please bring with you any sanitary products to donate, all will go towards local ladies in need.

We are also raising funds for Eggtooth (local organisation, hatching potential for the younger generations, bringing them therapy, mentoring and opportunities) and their latest project She Goal, setting up a girls football team. Please help us by taking part in a raffle and/or by donations on the day, thanks so much…

Chocolate Cake & Chocolate Custard…

This Sunday’s roast will be a top local beef with fresh Horseradish or a Nut Roast (vegetarian and vegan options), all with Yorkshire puds, roasties, seasonal vegetables and gravy.

For those that may have read our previously published menu, Homity Pie will be on the menu in the coming weeks instead, sorry!

Dessert takes us back in time (in a good way) to the school canteen (I really mean in a good way) and an absolute classic of chocolate sponge and chocolate custard, this will also be in both vegetarian and vegan options!

And YEP, you guessed it. this Sunday’s roast is local chicken with stuffing or a new recipe Wellington which brings together beetroot, kale and a mighty stuffing all rolled within a fine pastry, all vegan too. Dessert this week is a Banoffee Pie!
