Spring Up The Hill…

Firstly, a huge thank you to all that visited us this Bank Holiday Monday, it was so wonderful to see so many of you…and all looking so festive! The queues were long everywhere but we were very glad to have offered some of you a haven for a rest … and a plate of chips…

Friday 6th – Garden Kitchen 4-10pm

Start your weekend here! Fully stocked bar of carefully selected drinks, some local wines and beers too. Hand stretched, wood fired pizzas and hopefully a temperature high enough for us to be comfortable outdoors. Resident DJ Dave will be opening his doors to spin a few records too…

Sunday 8th – Lunch 12.30-3.30ish

  • Local roast pork, home made apple sauce
  • Beacon Best Nut Roast; served straight up with sweet potato puree (vegan) or *new* a super crispy version, deep fried for an extra crispy coating (v)
  • Sussex Smokie; Rock-a-nore smoked haddock in a cheese sauce topped with mash

Each main comes with roasties, seasonal vegetable medley and a home brewed gravy.

Sharing starter platters (menu usually decided on the day) plus kids menu of half roast or meat/veggie bangers available each week.

Dessert is a choice of summer berry cheesecake or vegan sticky toffee pudding…
