Our toddler group, Sprouts, explores the coming of Spring and the Jack In The Green celebrations this week. We’ll be printing flowers, making leafy collages and wearing green. 10.30-12
This weeks Thursday menu is a local roast chicken marinaded in a Tikka blend or Beetroot & Tofu kebab (ve). Both come with Tikka sauce, carrot ribbon salad, roast Bombay potatoes, nan bread and our home made lime pickle.
Come and join us from 7pm, fully stocked bar and open gardens should the weather allow it.
Sunday Lunch this week is local roast beef & Yorkshire puddings or Nut Roast (V) (Ve) both served with all your classic trimmings. This week sees the beginning of our Thursday evenings, back for the summer months. Come and have a drink, dine al fresco (weather permitting) or enjoy the use of our space for your weekly meets.
We kick start with local pulled pork or spiced roasted vegetables with Feta (Vegan without), both served with pink pickled onions, slow cooked Pinto beans, slaw and green rice. A board of delights for £10.
She’s back too! Also starting this week, but now on a Friday, is Candy and her Veggie/Vegan diner. This week she’ll be serving up a Mexican bean burger served in a local fresh bakery bun with lettuce, tomato, red onion and guacamole topped with nachos. Served with fries and a tomato, cucumber and onion salad. And follows it with a chocolate brownie and ice cream.
And finally, Sunday Lunch.
This weeks roast is local chicken with stuffing or a layered vegetable pie (v) or a Puy & Porter Pot Pie (ve), each are served with roasties and seasonal vegetables. For dessert we have mini pavlova which will be dressed with raspberry compote and fresh strawberries (not apricot as previously listed on the menu, sorry) or a rhubarb and custard bake (ve).

Wednesday is Sprouts Easter special, our parent led toddler group will be making Eater themed cards, searching for golden eggs in the garden or perhaps enjoying a treat from the bar. 10.30-12
Thursday is the beginning of the Clothesline Super Sale, come and enjoy a glass of wine and browse the rails containing many items of hand made clothing and fabrics for sale at their lowest prices. 6-9. Sale continues on Friday 11-6. Also on Friday (6-9) is the opening of a show of works by artist Simon Kemplen.
