Book your table soon for…

  • Butterflied local leg of lamb, roasted outdoors in the wood fired oven, minted redcurrant
  • Mixed Nut Wellington; hand rolled in puff pastry with added cheese and a hint of chutney (v)
  • Beacon Nut Roast, sweet potato puree (ve)

Each served with crushed roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, a home brewed gravy & Yorkshire pudding.

  • Catch of the Day; baked fish topped with cheese & herbs, served with creamed spinach, garlic tomatoes & crushed roast potatoes.

Also this week, add a side of cauliflower cheese!

Dessert is a choice of Banoffee Pie or a vegan raspberry chocolate cake…

Return of the Homity Pie!

Returning to the menu this week, one of our favourite vegetarian dishes – Homity Pie; homely, humble and deep filled with creamy leeks, potatoes and spinach in a wholemeal crust.

This Sunday Brought To You By….Us

Here we are some time ago trying not to leave the EU. Well, we’re still here (in Hastings we mean) and ready to open our home once again to bring to you our lovingly cooked, locally sourced Sunday specials. We’ll be brushing off our aprons this weekend after a longer-than-usual annual break – polishing the silver, shaking out the tablecloths, scrubbing the doorstep  (uh?)…

Well anyway… we’ll be firing up the ovens both in the kitchen and out in the garden for our first roast dinner of 2023!

Winter Solstice!

Join us for our final event of the year to celebrate the official start of Winter, the shortest day and to say a fine farewell to 2022. Its had its challenges eh?

We have fine music, plenty to drink and eat and some festive cheer for you all…

Just announced too, in addition to the line up we also have Apricity Braves performing for the first time in Hastings.

Christmas at The Beacon

December is upon us!

We’ll be here for the next few weeks with your favourite home cooked Sunday Roasts with a sprinkling of the winter season and the good things that it brings. Sloe Gin is one.
