Hey, as the summer continues (except these slightly blustery days we’re having right now) so do we. Here’s what we’ve got coming up…

Ambient improvised electronic music group Jury Service return to the Beacon on Thursday July 17th, with support from renowned Hastings-based singer and songwriter Tim Hoyte, and sonic wizard Anthony Moore. Tim’s 2019 album  ‘Summerland’ was nominated as British folk album of the year by Micheal J Mand on New York’s St James Infirmary Radio show. On this occasion Tim will be performing solo. 

 Anthony will perform a piece with virtuoso violinist Richard Moore (no relation) from his acclaimed recent LP, Live in Cologne. Anthony and Richard will later join Jury Service for further sonic wonderment.

Doors open at 7.00pm, plus bar and light supper from the kitchen.

Team Garden have been very busy preparing the Wilderness and her plots for all to see.

We are very pleased to be part of local project Town Grown which offers a tour of Edible Gardens throughout Hastings & St Leonards. We are open on Sunday, offering lunches with as much homegrown produce as possible. See menu below (subject to change should the slugs decide otherwise)..

Hello from all of us at The Beacon.

We are closed this weekend for a family reunion, with relatives from up north travelling down, many of which have not visited in years. We hope they can help us consume the latest crop of home grown lettuce.

Beginning next week and running every Friday throughout the summer months, our gardens and bar will be open from 4pm onwards, plus the Garden Kitchen serving wood fired pizzas. Expect music from DJ Dave out the back or find a peaceful spot in the child free front garden.

An afternoon with a difference! Plus food from The Shared Table. Will be a treat….
