Improvised music in Hastings? Yep! And with some real talent…

Saturday 16th – Sappho Supper Club

A delicious Persian feast with rich warming but also refreshing and zingy flavours. It will be a multi course meal with something for everyone.  £35 ph please email Savannah to book hgkhastings@gmail.com

Sunday 17th – Roast

  • Local roast pork, home made apple sauce
  • OG Beacon Nut Roast, squash puree (v or ve)
  • Cashew nut roast, garlic roast cauliflower (v or ve)

Each main comes with roasties, Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables and a home brewed gravy.

Desserts this week are fruit crumble or cherry & almond Brownie (both available as vegan option)

What’s Cooking…

Saturday 9th – Fundraising Taster Supper – SOLD OUT

In aid of Hastings & Rother Green Party, Masterchef semi-finalist Ollie Hunter will be in our kitchen cooking up a 5 course taster supper – it’s all about sustainability, and utterly delicious! Ollie is donating his time and skills,  and local businesses will be donating the ingredients. All proceeds to the Green Party.

Thanks to everyone who has booked in to this event, the tickets sold very quickly. Please stay tuned for similar events…

Sunday 10th – Mothers Day

Please register your interest with us, tables are allocated on a first come first served basis…

  • Roast chicken, Mums home made stuffing
  • Original recipe nut Roast, squash puree, roast celeriac (V/VE, GF)
  • *New* Cashew nut roast, roast cauliflower & garlic (V/VE, GF)
  • Lentil & Porter Pie, butterbean mash (VE, GF)

Each comes with roasties, Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables and a home brewed gravy.

In the spirit of the great poets of Persia,  bring a poem to share….this is not compulsory of course – your presence at our table is more than enough – but for those who would like to read, the floor is all yours!

We’re Back!

Our lovingly cooked Roasts start again THIS SUNDAY (4th) so please book in to eat with us soon. This week we are kicking off with Netherfield beef or our best Nut Roast (veggie or vegan), each served with Yorkshire puds, roasties, seasonal veg and gravy. Plus kids portions and home baked desserts.
