Mums The Word!

We had a great Mothers Day, thanks to all those that came for lunch and a special shout out to our creatives of the Draw Your Mum show, we had some wonderful entries and have really enjoyed seeing them all.

Before we announce the winner (it was hard to choose just one), here’s a little feedback from the anonymous art critic of the day…

Arthur, aged 6: I would love to meet your happy mum!
Charlie, age unknown: you have Bev’s character so wonderfully, great portrait
Jeanie, aged 9: your Mum looks so kind and caring
Leo, aged 12: I think I would recognise your Mum if I passed her in the street
Noah, aged 10: I love a minimalist!
Nova, aged 5: was the heating on too high? Your Mum looks hot!
Rufus, aged 10: your Mum has so much character – what was she saying when you did this drawing? – had you not eaten your vegetables?
Sala, aged 5: what a happy smiling Mum
Win, aged 10: what a lovely caring Mum, and superb drawing
Winnie, aged 4: your Mum has such a lot of good things in her head – wonderful

  1. Hello lovely Beacon people! I really enjoy receiving your newsletters; the only thing is that hearing about Mothers Day is triggering… A lot of businesses now have a way for people to ‘opt out’ of hearing about events that cause them pain rather than joy.. Are you able to opt me out of Mothers Day content, or is it better if I unsubscribe and learn about your events just through the street WhatsApp instead? Thanks for any help you can give. Warmest wishes to you all,
