Chilled vibes, bar open for drinks and kitchen serving up summer platters, great for sharing….or not!

Salads of tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, potatoes, pesto all from the Beacon garden served with fresh bread and a choice of falafel & hummus (vegan), courgette & feta fritters with chilli sauce, or chicken liver pate or smoked mackerel pate & pickled cucumber; Each £12

Children’s platter available – bread, sausage, cucumber & carrot sticks £5

Sunday Lunch 12.30-4ish

  • Local shoulder of pork, slow roasted, with home made apple sauce
  • Beacon best nut roast, squash puree, celeriac steak (ve)

Each served with roasties, Yorkshire pudding, vegetable medley and a home brewed gravy.

Also, seasonal platters; courgette fritters with fresh pesto or home cured salmon with smoked mackerel pate and brown shrimp. Each served alongside a grazing board of homegrown salads, potatoes, fresh greens and freshly baked bread.

Desserts this week are vegan Bakewell cake or summer berry cheesecake

    Hello, thanks for all the info in the newsletter dated today, 24 July, but everything has already happened! This was all last week’s news. Can you not send information ahead, rather post facto?
