Come all Ye Playful! We’re opening for a fab Friday in December to host small groups wishing to celebrate the festive season together. With limited dining areas, we can take only a couple more parties wishing to book in. Firstly, thanks to those that joined us for our final Friday of the year last week. We had such a great evening with a true essence of Guy Fawkes commemoration, we were sure to go out with a bang..and that we did, as well as our effigy of Vlad. Big thanks to all those that made it happen too. We look forward to a new season of Fridays next year…

We proudly host Reg Hendricke’s recently formed quintet, Playground, featuring Reg Hendrickse on flute, Mark Swindall on guitar, Sophie Mason on keys, Huw Thomas on bass and Chris Priestley on drums.
Reg is the orchestration behind the East Hastings Angling Club jazz nights and this promises to be a night of eclectic and inspired mix of Brazilian infused tunes – Gilberto Gil comes to the West Hill (if you will). Entry is £5, home cooked veg/vegan chilli available from the kitchen…

CHRISTMAS!
We are excited to announce that on Friday the 16th December we will be opening our dining areas to a lucky few parties (up to 15 guests) wishing to celebrate this season with colleagues. Come and dine with us; enjoy a home cooked menu and a seasonal cocktail within our festive surroundings! For a copy of the menu and to book your party in please get in touch ASAP…

Friday 4th – The One About Guy Fawkes (kind of) Bar & Garden Kitchen open from 6pm ** this event is weather depending**
Come and keep warm; baked potatoes served al fresco with campfire beans (ve) or slow cooked chilli and mulled cider. A bonfire, an effigy and even our very own (low noise) fireworks display! Opening for food and drinks from 6pm, fireworks will be after 8….

Its the final two weeks of Friday evening openings for us here so here’s what we have lined up….
Fridays 28th – The Halloweeny One 5-9pm
A nod to the spooky season; prize for best dressed, devilish cocktails, themed garden scenes, maybe a monster mash and the final session of pizzas from the Garden Kitchen!!
Fridays 4th November – The Guy Fawkes One 5-10pm
Sit round the bonfire with a warming bowl of BBQ beans and a hot potato, sip a mulled cider and later enjoy a small (low noise) fireworks display. More details to follow…
